Obi portrays Anubis, the powerful ancient Egyptian deity of the dead who gently guides humans through the soul-judgment process. Chris Obi is an English actor best known for his role in the film "Snow White and the Huntsman," were collaborated with director Rupert Sanders. Obi reunites with Sanders once more for the forthcoming Dreamworks/Paramount Pictures film "Ghost in the Shell."
While Obi is well-known for his TV and film acting appearances, he has also graced the stages of many theatres around the UK in various roles and contributed his voice to several radios plays. Among his other film credits are "The Counselor," "Burke & Hare," and "The Call Up."
