Similar to previous years street basketball is different in comparison to NBA 2K22 MT indoor basketball. In part, because you play 3-on-3 and therefore have more space and also because all players in street games are controlled by humans and not by the computer. Additionally, 2K chooses to give street basketball a more arcade feeling.
The game's matchmaking is excellent and you're generally playing against teams which are evenly and well-matched. The player rating you earn is not the most important factor, but more important is how intelligent (or stupid) you're playing. It's embarrassing when you're paired with someone who can't defend and likes to shoot three-pointers, but you can't escape that.
Street basketball appears slightly better than last year's version but it feels like you're in a bit more control over what your player does. In previous editions you could be stuck in an animated sequence that required to play before you could move on to Buy NBA 2K MT Coins the next. That's much better in 2K22.
